Summer program, of the student exchange
Summer program of the students exchange Summer Work and Travel (SWT) is designated for the students of the higher education institutions of the full time form of study. Since 2006 student of the last year of study can also take part in the program on the condition that at the time of the return from that program they are still the students. The same concern the students whose graduation date is within the duration of the program. Students of the vocational schools can not participate except those cases when study in the vocational school automatically leads to the entry to the university on the full time form of study.
It is underlined that SWT is the program of students exchange officially approved by the US government what gives the opportunity from all around the world including Ukraine to visit the USA during summer vacation, to see from the inside how Americans live, to work on “summer” positions, and, of course to improve English and to travel across the USA with new friends.
The program allows to work in the US for the period of from one to four months. The program participants usually work on the positions what do not require special preparation. These are peak-load seasonal work in the hotels, restaurants, fast foods, shops etc. Also after the finish of work participants may travel across the USA during one month, to see sights and culture. Nowadays this program is very popular among the students who wish to evince and embody themselves.

- excellent opportunity to improve English knowledge being within the environment and communicating with the Americans on the daily basis. Language practice allows to apply for the better job, watch movies without translation and simply communicate with the aliens
- the opportunity to make new friends, to get acquainted with the culture, traditions and lifestyle in t\one of the most well developed countries of the world.
